Svijetu (internetu) poznatija kao BigMamma, Maja Mačković je kćer prvog hrvatskog kulinarskog suca i World Master chefa Ivana Buzolića.
Iako ju je život odveo u fotografiju i umjetnost, kulinarski geni su prevagnuli pa je pod očevim mentorstvom započela svoju gastro priču. Prateći ga kroz sve restorane i objekte gdje je brusio zanat, Maja je uz oca prošla cijelo ugostitljesko iskustvo; od asistenta, konobara, managera, head managera, do pozicije kuhara i voditelja kuhinje gdje se nalazi i danas.
Paralelno s vođenjem kuhinje  Zlatne školjke, sudjelovala je na brojnim međunarodnim natjecanjima gdje je ostvarila zavidne rezultate, od čega će uvijek kao najdraže priznanje istaći svoje prvo zlato za modernu kuhinju koje je za hrvatsku osvojila žena.
Uz brojne medalje i priznanja, ponosna je članica žena u WACS-u (krovna svjetska kulinarska asocijacija), te marketing i projekt manager u udruzi Croatian Master Chefs Association. U istoj udruzi je od 2014. god. i ponosna mentorica juniorskog tima. Ujedno je i gastro kolumnist za časopis Mama i beba, freelance art fotograf, te food stylist i fotograf.
Svoja znanja o kuhinji, community managementu i marketingu objedinuje u kolumni koju piše za T-portal. U slobodno vrijeme eksperimentira s molekularnom kuhinjom, izrađuje nakit, slika, piše poeziju i istražuje sve što ima veze s kreativnošću.

Known as BigMamma, Maja Mačković is the daughter of the first Croatian culinary judge and World Master Chef Ivan Buzolić.
Although life directed her in photography and art, culinary genes prevailed so her culinary story began under the supervision of her father. Following him through all the restaurants and facilities where he worked and created, Maja assisted and learned; starting as an assistant, waiter, manager, head manager, to the position of chef and executive chef where she works to this day.

Along with being executive chef of slow food restaurant Golden Shell, she participated in numerous international culinary competitions where she achieved remarkable results.
She’ll always highlight her first gold award (which was also her first competition ever) , to emphasize its significance since it was the first gold medal for modern cuisine that a woman won for Croatia.

With numerous medals and awards, she is also a proud member of the women in the WACS (leading culinary association in entire worlds), and marketing and project manager in Croatian Master Chefs Association. Since 2014. she is a proud mentor of junior culinary team in the same association.
She is also a culinary columnist for the magazine „Mom and baby“, freelance art photographer and food stylist and photographer.
She unites her knowledge of the cuisine, community management and marketing in the column for T-portal. In her spare time, she’s experimenting with molecular cuisine, designing and crafting jewelry, painting, writing poetry and exploring everything that has to do with creativity.
